Convictions- Beccles- Mary Fairweather and Sarah Fairweather, two common prostitutes, with James Fairweather , their brother, were convicted before the Justices at Beccles on Saturday last, of an assault upon Wm. Arnold aged 16, son of the Rev. Mr. Arnold, of Ellough; and were each fined 10s. and ordered to be imprisoned 1 month, unless the fines with costs were paid within a week.
